If hospitality is in the blood then its thick in the veins of Mill Inn Tavern operators, brothers Nat and Josh Volz.
As fourth generation publicans they are enthusiastic practitioners of a 70-year family tradition of fast, warm service, crisp, cold beer and hot, delicious food.
They follow in the footsteps of great grandparents Joe and Olive Jackson, grandparents Cliff and Norma Volz and parents Allen and Carita Volz all of whom have successfully operated iconic Darling Downs hotels since the 1950s.
The Tavern precinct encompasses well-appointed dining spaces, a state-of-the-art functions venue, a private meeting room, a relaxing beer garden incorporating children’s playground and 9-hole mini golf course, modern accommodation cabins and motel rooms.
A comfortable gaming room (9 machines), TAB facilities and Keno are also on offer.
Tucked away on Millmerran’s Mackenzie Street (signposted on most main intersections and adjacent to the picturesque Village Caravan Park) the Mill Inn Tavern experience is well worth the detour off the beaten track.
The township of Millmerran is the centre of a vibrant mixed farming and egg production district located on the Gore Highway 80 km. south-west of Toowoomba.
